I am taken over by the deputy mayor Luca and the traffic warden Gianpaolo, with whom we go to visit the <strong>necropolis of Corongiu<\/strong>, a site of <em>domus de janas<\/em>, some of which can be visited inside, and which have mysterious <strong>spiral symbols<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"figure aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12187\" src=\"http:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/361-Pimentel-blog-03.jpg\" alt=\"Pimentel\" width=\"1365\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/361-Pimentel-blog-03.jpg 1365w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/361-Pimentel-blog-03-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/361-Pimentel-blog-03-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/361-Pimentel-blog-03-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1365px) 100vw, 1365px\" \/><figcaption class=\"figure-caption text-center\">S\u2019Acqua Salida site<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Also in the site of <strong>S\u2019Acqua Salida<\/strong>, also called <strong>Pranu Efis<\/strong>, there are other tombs, dominated by deep engravings in the rocks. While it&#8217;s raining outside, friends, musicians, amateurs gather, Patrizio who organised the day, Luca, Piero and Maria Giovanna who will host me tonight. Here is preserved an old pipe organ produced by the <strong>Piras company<\/strong>, founded here in Pimentel in 1883 by <strong>Giuseppino Piras<\/strong>. The story goes that he began to build organs thanks to three small volumes and an atlas on the construction techniques of the pipe organ received as a gift from a Franciscan friar, <strong>Antonio Porqueddu<\/strong>, &#8216;master organ builder&#8217; of the convent of San Salvatore in Jerusalem, in exchange of twenty kilos of wheat. The last organ builder of the Piras company was Raffaele Piras, who taught the art to Giuseppe Palmas who in 1954 founded the Arte Organaria Sarda company in <a href=\"http:\/\/377project.com\/en\/356-377-segariu\/\">Segariu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Today they also talk to me about a certain <strong>Giulio Sollai<\/strong>, originally from Pimentel but who now lives in Turin, and who would have traveled the world twice.
