We are in the San Michele plateau, where the archaeological traces are mainly nuraghi. We stop to see the Nuraghe Mura de Ganes, in the middle of an inaccessible field.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"figure aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7665\" src=\"http:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-1.jpg\" alt=\"Sagama\" width=\"1365\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-1.jpg 1365w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-1-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-1-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1365px) 100vw, 1365px\" \/><figcaption class=\"figure-caption text-center\">Nuraghe Muristene<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We come up to the rural church of San Michele Arcangelo, a place where there was the medieval village of Triganu, now disappeared, a situation similar to the one I found yesterday in <a href=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/en\/242-377-scano-di-montiferro\/\">Scano di Montiferro<\/a> in the church of Sant&#8217;Antioco.<\/p>\n<p>Here in San Michele the church has been rebuilt in a modern style, and yet the place is magical, silent, with a beautiful shady park and a series of water springs that are channeled to form ponds.<\/p>\n<p>On the way back to the village, we stop to admire the remains of the Pascialzos nuraghe. The view extends to Sagama, behind the nuraghe and nestled on a limestone hill in the middle of the basaltic plateau.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"figure aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7675\" src=\"http:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-6.jpg\" alt=\"Sagama\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-6.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-6-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-6-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-6-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-6-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"figure-caption text-center\">Menhir &#8220;Sa Perda Marmurada&#8221;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once back in the village we end the tour of the nuraghi by visiting the one of Muristene, on the outskirts, not far from the parish church. This was to be the first inhabited nucleus of this village and from here you could also see all the other nuraghi scattered not only in the territory of Sagama but also in the other neighbouring municipalities, Flussio, Tinnura, Suni.<\/p>\n<p>Before the beautiful lunch organised by Ariadne, we can also see the menhir called &#8220;Sa Pedra Marmurada&#8221; in the midst of the vegetation of a sunny land, near which there was once a furnace where roof tiles were produced.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"figure aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7669\" src=\"http:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-3.jpg\" alt=\"Sagama\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-3.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-3-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-3-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-3-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/243-Sagama-blog-3-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"figure-caption text-center\">Roof tiles<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I spend the hot afternoon in the b&amp;b Su Rizolu, in the historic centre, where the owners Tonina, Anna and Andreana tell me about the activity that has now disappeared from Sagama, the production of roof tiles. The parish church of San Gabriele Arcangelo is at the end of the main road, with a beautiful facade all in white limestone, and the low bell tower on the side. Mario is a member of it and, in collaboration with the Municipality, they organised a musical evening to which the entire population was invited.<\/p>\n<p>We are therefore gathered in a beautiful little square, in a relaxed summer atmosphere and, as I have already done countless times, I tell my journey with stories and musical interventions. In the audience, in the front row, a group of attentive and participatory children.<\/p>\n<p>I find that here in Sagama schools closed in 1999. A situation that now afflicts many small villages in a slow sequence.
