I enter Noragugume and arrive in the central square around which the centre develops. Also in the square there is the church of the Beata Vergine or Madonna d&#8217;Itria, with a Catalan-Gothic layout and a beautiful side loggia.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"figure aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8278\" src=\"http:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-3.jpg\" alt=\"Noragugume\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-3.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-3-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-3-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-3-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-3-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"figure-caption text-center\">Decorated balcony<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Not far from here is the small church of Santa Croce, built during the Middle Ages and showing elements in both red trachyte and basalt. The historic centre is very small, full of ancient houses with Aragonese elements, doors, windows, and nineteenth-century buildings with decorated balconies.<\/p>\n<p>After a good lunch at the Sa Trebbia bar I am joined by the local TV new team who, for the second time in the trip (the first was in <a href=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/en\/115-377-cardedu\/\">Cardedu<\/a>), is dedicating a news feature to my trip. There is no one in the square, a surreal silence and fierce heat reigns.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"figure aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8282\" src=\"http:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-5.jpg\" alt=\"Noragugume\" width=\"1365\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-5.jpg 1365w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-5-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-5-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-5-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1365px) 100vw, 1365px\" \/><figcaption class=\"figure-caption text-center\">Sa Pedra &#8216;e Taleri Menhir<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Later, I set off on my bike to visit a couple of archaeological sites. I leave the village and throw myself downhill into the valley below the plateau, passing an old disused quarry and arriving at some fields where I can find the beautiful menhir Sa Pedra &#8216;e Taleri. I see it from the road as it is on private property and I don&#8217;t feel like entering. I still manage to admire its height against yellow fields and an African sky.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"figure aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8286\" src=\"http:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-7.jpg\" alt=\"Noragugume\" width=\"1365\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-7.jpg 1365w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-7-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-7-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/377project.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/264-Noragugume-blog-7-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1365px) 100vw, 1365px\" \/><figcaption class=\"figure-caption text-center\">Nuraghe Tolinu<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I go up the hill and take the road to <a href=\"https:\/\/377project.com\/en\/263-377-sedilo\/\">Sedilo<\/a>. From here I turn off onto a country road to reach the Nuraghe Tolinu, also beyond a fence that I do not cross. Even the name Noragugume, like other names of Sardinian towns, gives rise to doubts about where to put the accent. In this case it is called Norag\u00f9gume.<\/p>\n<p>The doubt about the accents had already occurred to me also in Ul\u00e0ssai which contrasts with Ussass\u00e0i. N\u00f9oro with the accent on u should always be remembered to the foreigners. Then there is a bit of confusion even among Sardinians on Atz\u00e0ra and \u00c0rzana. Sem\u00e8stene. T\u00ecana. Os\u00ecni, but \u00d9sini. S\u00e8dini. \u00c8rula. Bonn\u00e0naro. Bess\u00f9de. B\u00e0nari. Putif\u00ecgari. S\u00e0gama. Sennariolo. B\u00f2ttidda. Sim\u00e0xis. Siapicc\u00eca. \u00c0llai. S\u00ecmala.
